Acupuncture

Aigle Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine, an ancient medicine dating back several millennia.

It makes it possible to harmonize the energies which circulate in the body through the meridians, and thus to remove blockages, to nourish voids, thanks to the introduction of fine needles at precise points of these meridians.

It helps treat all kinds of symptoms, including:

  • tendonitis

  • sciatica

  • back pain

  • joint pain

  • digestive problems

  • headache

  • sleep problems

  • allergies

This list is not exhaustive.

Acupuncture also has a great effect on emotional problems and mental health.

Shonishin

shonishin aigle

Shonishin is a therapeutic technique inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, used for several centuries in Japan to treat babies and children without pain.

Thanks to touches, vibrations or tapping with a small instrument, on specific points or paths, it allows energies to be rebalanced.

It makes it possible to process in particular:

  • sleeping troubles

  • excessive crying

  • feeding difficulties

  • recurrent ENT disorders

  • digestive disorders

  • irritability

About my approach

Qualified as a midwife in Geneva in 1995, I have worked for almost 30 years in hospitals in the Riviera and Chablais, and currently at the Hôpital Riviera-Chablais (HRC).

Driven by the desire to open up to another approach to medicine and the human body, and the desire to offer a different, complementary and equally rich therapy, with another look at the body-mind entity, I acquired the acupuncture IUD from the University of Medicine of Strasbourg in 2008.

I worked for 2 years at the acupuncture consultation at Aigle hospital, then independently since 2011.

In order to also be able to treat toddlers, I trained in 2019 and 2020 at Shonishin following the training of Dr Wernicke in Neuchâtel, and in 2022 at Tuina pediatric following the training of Ms Chen Jun at the Guang Ming institute in Morges.
